From Two Paths to One Vision
In 2013, a technology and data insights team began designing outcomes driven software to support organizations driving social change. A year later, in 2014, coLAB was founded to help mission-focused organizations lead with clarity, adapt with intention, and make a lasting impact through sustainability, strategy, facilitation, and systems change.
Though their paths were different, their purpose was the same. And while they collaborated throughout the years, in 2025 these teams officially came together, redefining what coLAB could be. With the development of VERVE, coLAB now offers both the human guidance and the living software solution mission-driven leaders need to turn vision into action—and action into lasting impact.

A team of designers and engineers begins collaborating with subject matter experts to create mission-focused software tools that support behavioral and mental health organizations and public agencies across the country. Their work centers on improving care coordination and tracking change over time in client treatment and helping systems better respond to the needs of the communities they serve.
coLAB is Formed
coLAB launches in Lancaster, PA as a women-owned consulting firm, uniting experts in strategy, facilitation, and sustainability to help mission-driven organizations lead with clarity and advance their impact. With a focus on people and relationships, coLAB supports teams in aligning around shared goals and turning vision into action.
Breaking Ground
The software and data team in partnership with the coLAB team's community based needs assessment, deploys its first enterprise platform–supporting data collection and performance tracking for behavioral health and human services.
coLAB Grows
coLAB expands its reach, partnering with more than 125 organizations on strategic planning, leadership development, and systems change.

As the world shifts, both teams double down–offering adaptive planning, digital facilitation, and people-centered strategic support.
